Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin which can be found in two forms; retinol and beta carotene. Retinol can be found in foods from an animal source, with the other type of Vitamin A being derived from colourful fruits and vegetables. Retinol can be used directly by the body, whereas beta carotene needs to be converted into retinol first before it can be used.

Solgar is a very reliable brand. Chose the dry Vitamin A as oil capsules can have a bad effect on me, so glad Solgar do a dry form.
