Antonia is a blogger & shares the things that she loves and indulges in the details that make life special. We asked Antonia about her favourite products when it comes to summer, find which multitasking product from Clarins is a must have...

I’ve arrived in Menorca for my yearly summer break with my family and this post is a very quick roundup of the sun protection I’ve been using since I got here.

allbeauty have kindly partnered with me for this trip so the items I’ve listed are my picks from their holiday selection. I focused only on sun protection because this is a very relaxed break and I rarely get dressed up or wear any makeup when I am here so looking after my skin is my main concern.

FACE PROTECTION

You may know from following me on social media or reading other blog posts that I suffer with pigmentation. The minute the sun comes out, my face gets covered in uneven brown patches. I always use skincare products and makeup with an SPF but it makes little difference but yet battle on.

An exciting recent discovery is Ultrasun’s eye cream with an SPF of 30 which is also waterproof. I cannot recommend this enough, it’s not greasy at all and your crows’ feet will thank you for it. This is my hero product of the summer

For my face I chose Clinique’s mineral sunscreen, it reminds me a lot of this other one by Clarins It’s really lightweight, you barely notice you are wearing it and it’s great for days out and about, although you might want something more heavy-duty for long days at the beach.

I mentioned earlier that I suffer with pigmentation and to that end, I am road testing an anti-dark spot fluid from Nuxe. It’s too soon to tell whether this will help but I expect it to come into its own once I am back home in the UK.

HAIR AND BODY

Clarins has come up trumps with a multitasking product to protect both your skin and unruly locks from sun damage. It’s the sun care oil mist which is a dry oil with an SPF of 30. Multitasking products are worth their weight in gold and never more so than when luggage allowances are tight. My supply is going down quickly as I’m spraying it liberally. It gives your skin a nice glow and my hair a much-needed boost of moisture throughout the day. I doubt it will last the duration of the holiday but it’s a goodie all the same.Where hair is concerned, I’ve been keeping my coloured and heat damaged hair in check with Swimcap from Philip Kingsley. It’s said to be excellent for blondes as it stops hair from going green in chlorinated water. The product was originally developed for the US Synchronised Swimming Team so you know it must be good.
It would be great to hear about the holiday skincare products you swear by so please let me know in the comments below!Antonia xAll words and opinions are my own, thanks to allbeauty who gifted the products to me.A massive thank you to Antonia for this great review, all products can be purchasedhere.
