My face became dry and dry eyes

I'm new to Elizabeth Arden skincare. After using other well known premium brands over the years, EA was recommended to me by a friend, but I'm not sold on the cleanser. The cream is quite thick and seem to need quite a lot, sometimes needing a second application to cleanse even light make up off properly, so I don't think it will go far. It doesn't have any scent, which some might appreciate, but that leaves it with an almost unpleasant smell which given them EA reputation I've found quite surprising. That was the negative - the positive is that it leaves skin feeling very soft, but not sure yet if that's enough to make me buy it again.
