An eau de parfum that feels more like an eau de cologne: faint and short-lived. The bergamot & mandarin notes are unrecognisable, they come across like a simply annoying sour accord. The violet, jasmine & leather notes are the only ones noticeable, the others aren't distinguishable and the fragrance feels pretty linear. Not the good quality I've got used to with Lalique... The packaging wasn't sealed in its original wrapping foil, like all the others I've got from this collection. I have checked online the date of manufacture for my product and the batch code on my box shows that my Chypre Silver was made in October 2015. Usually, a fragrance is at its best up to 5 years from the date of its manufacture, which may explain the poor quality of this product. I've bought fragrances from allbeauty.com countless times before, including a Lalique Les Compositions Oriental Zinc that I'm extremely pleased with, but this time I'm very unhappy with my purchase...

Very nice fragrance. Crisp, fresh and distinctive. Just a couple of quick sprays is all you need. Really like it.
