Deeply luxurious, this hair oil is formulated with a combination of wild camellia and French camellia, delicately harvested by hand in Brittany, France. It is also infused with Argan Oil.

Lightweight, and gently scented with Kérastase’s iconic perfume, this hair oil is a multi-sensorial and highly versatile hair treatment. It can be used as:
1. A Pre-cleanse: Apply on Dry Hair before Shampoo to help Detangling.
2. A Pre-blow dry oil: To protect the Hair from Heat up to 230°C (Instrumental Test after one Application), before using Heat Styling Tools
3. A Finishing: Work into the ends of the Hair to Control Frizz, Strength, and Style.
4. A Touch-Up: Apply a Drop to Ends throughout the day for a Touch of Shine

How much hair oil should I use?
The amount of hair oil needed ranges from 1-2 drops depending on the length, texture, thickness, and condition of the head of hair in question. The trick is to apply one drop at a time and distribute the oil evenly. Start small.

Should I apply Elixir Ultime on my lengths only or can I apply it on my scalp too?
Elixir Ultime is designed to be applied only on your lengths to boost hair shine, to help seal split ends and help you with frizz control. Kérastase do not recommend applying directly on your scalp. At Kérastase, they develop other formulas specific for scalp treatment.

Should hair oil be applied on wet or dry hair?
It depends on the result you are seeking: Applying oil on wet hair means less shine, but it helps with detangling & heat protection before blow-drying. On dry hair, the shine factor is higher, and you will get improved frizz protection.
