Unlike “natural”, organic standards are clearly defined offering full traceability and transparency. Pesticides used in conventional farming negatively impact the environment, disrupting ecosystems, contaminating water and affecting wildlife. Organic farming standards don’t allow the use of synthetic pesticides or herbicides, therefore organic produce and extracts are free from traces of those chemicals. Several studies have also confirmed that organic crops contain higher average levels of nutrients, therefore offering superior nutrition and results to their non-organic counterparts. Organic farming respects and encourages wildlife. The Organic Pharmacy avoid any ingredients with potential carcinogenic, endocrine (hormone) disruptive or neurotoxic activity. They formulate all products without parabens, sulphates, PEGs, BHT, ethanolamines, propylene glycol, mineral oil, silicones or chemical sunscreens.
