Bringing you the best in beauty! One of the reasons we absolutely adore March is that it signifies the beginning of Spring! This year, Spring begins in the UK with the March Equinox on the 20th March and will end on the 21st June. Equinox comes from the Latin from Equal and Night, meaning that the length of daylight is equal to the night time. It means that days will be getting longer, and that is something to celebrate!

Do you know what else we’re celebrating? The best in beauty of course! Here is our round up of the top five products we have lined up for March!

Launched on the 18th February, we’ve been testing out benefit’s They’re Real Magnet for the past few weeks - and we are hooked! They’re Real Magnet uses a magnetizing formula to draw out lashes to extreme lengths. This mascara has been added to their mascara range as an “extreme lengthening” tool, and sits alongside Bad Gal Bang (the volumizing mascara), Roller Lash (the curling mascara) and the original leader of the pack - They’re Real! Lengthening mascara.

Why do we love this magnetic marvel? Smudge free and flake resistant, this new release features an innovative extender brush which has a magnetically charged core to lift your lashes up and out. The formula is enriched with Iron Oxides to supercharge its magnetic capabilities. Also as an added bonus, you won’t find yourself scraping off excess product - the opening of the mascara tube is slightly narrower than usual, so excess product is scraped off as you draw the wand out of the tube. What a game changer!

It’s available in a full size format and a mini format.

This floral number is one of the stars of our Spring Fragrance edit. Introducing…. Olympéa Blossom!

Fans of Olympéa will recognise the bottle design, which features an addition of graphic black flowers - inspired by Paco Rabanne flower styling - to illustrate the floral content within! The bottle is embellished with gold detail, paying homage to Greek mythology and legendary Goddesses.

Featuring peppery roses and effervescent blackcurrant sorbet as its top notes, this scent also includes notes of frosted pear, vanilla and cashmere wood. The original Olympéa is described as having a salty vanilla accord. With this launch, Paco Rabanne has reinvented the scent with a floral twist - just in time for you to spritz this Spring!

Olympéa Blossom comes in two formats - 80ml & 50ml.

Spring is coming and what better way to welcome it in than by upgrading your eye make up game with golden sunshine hues? The Urban Decay Naked Honey Palette has 12 shades of golden neutrals, designed to suit every skin tone and eye colour.

Create a very simple look with neutral mattes in Flyby, Sweet and Swarm or go for full on opulence with metallics Golden, Honey and Queen. You’ll notice that all the eye shades have buzzy connotations. We just love it when a brand is playful with their naming!

Feeling creative? Urban Decay recommend using this palette to create an ultimate 70’s statement eye - so put on some Abba and get painting some glorious golden winged looks!

Featuring precious hair oils at the heart of its formula, Kérastase Elixir Ultime is one of our go to shine-enhancing hair oils. Suitable for daily use, its beautifying formula is suitable for all hair types and its exquisite fragrance gives us a much needed boost on dull days!

Use on the lengths of your hair to boost shine, seal split ends and assist with frizz control. Featuring Marula Oil, Camellia Oil & Argan Oil, this is one salon worthy product that we’ll always be glad to have on display in our bathroom. Pictured in our edit is Elixir Ultime Edition Rouge - a covetable limited edition in red glitter! The Elixir is also available in a golden bottle - L’Huile Originale. Looking for a delicate scent? Try Kérastase Elixir Ultime L’Huile Rose for a rose scented experience! Finer hair types can use L’Huile Légère, a lighter version of the oil which is boosted with Intra-Cylane® to add thickness, body and shine to dull hair.

This fragrance is the definition of elegance in a bottle! Yves Saint Laurent has been at the forefront of the luxury fragrance world for over 50 years. From classic scents such as Yvresse and Cinéma to newer releases such as Black Opium, this is a fragrance house with a scent for all ages.

Designed for a woman who is strong, bold and authentic, 2019's Libre Eau de Parfum is a contemporary fougère fragrance which features notes of orange blossom and lavender. Fronted by Dua Lipa, famous for songs “New Rules” and “One Kiss”, this is a young and edgy fragrance for a woman who is not afraid to express herself and express her liberated sensuality.

So to sum up our round up, we’re filling our March days with floral fragrances, magnetising lashes, golden eyes and divine hair oil - just like true Spring Goddesses! See you in April, where we’ll be talking about some SUBLIME skincare and luscious lip looks!
