I hadn't smelt this prior to purchasing, but I have no regrets. It's an interesting fragrance, amd I would regard this as perfectly unisex. It's fresh, but pretty long-lasting. The mint not is definitely the star, as it is so realistic. To me, the fragrance makes me think it is capturing an early morning in spring/summer, maybe up in the hills where the air is clean and fresh, the sun is out, nearby are roses still in bud but yet to flower, and the aroma of fresh mint growing nearby is wafting into the air. Its a brilliant fragrance
