Grown since the 8th century BC, pistachios are unique in the nut world, naturally containing their own blend of vitamins and minerals as well as lutein, zeaxanthin and a host of phenolic compounds, including anthocyanins, flavonoids, and proanthocyanidins. These nutrients all work synergistically in the body to help encourage equilibrium.
