An elegant interpretation of a modern and radiant femininity. Madame Rochas offers a resounding accord of bright floral nuances spun with bright aldehydes.
Originally released in 1960, Madame Rochas opens in a trail of aldehydes, honeysuckle, orange blossom, green notes, hiacynth, neroli, bergamot and lemon. The heart comprises a delicate balance between sweet jasmine, roses, ylang ylang, tuberose and a powdery touch of orris root, violet and iris. A warming base brings out notes of sandalwood, tonka bean, amber, musk, oak moss and vetiver.

Loved this when I left school in the late 70’s and worked in a perfumery. You need to love aldehyde notes and it is very similar to Hermes Caleche which I also loved. Lasts remarkably well for an edt and sillage moderate. Lovely complex Woody floral - very much as I remember it but must be a reformulation - beautiful and elegant.
