This floral fragrance opens with top notes of Italian Bergamot, Mandarin, Rum succan absolute and Honey, middle notes are Jasmine, Turkish rose, Cattleva leopoldii orchid, Black orchid, Orange blossom, Moroccan rose, Heliotropin, Magnolia, Jonquil and Hyacinth. Base notes are Labdanum, Sandalwood, Peru balsam, Myrrh, Suede and vanilla.

Will never buy Tom Ford Velvet Orchid again. This perfume is expensive the smell has no staying power.

Purchased as a gift for female. She really liked the scent. Having sampled it, it could definitely be unisex but I woukd say it is more feminine leaning. In terms of wearabilty its probably all year round but leaning a little more cold weather. I personally find the fragrance fairly long lasting.

Tom Ford is a beautiful fragrance that lasts on your body all day however I purchased my bottle from allbeauty.com online and the scent is gone within a few short hours. Source your supplier before you buy... lesson learnt
