Philip Kingsley cares deeply about the future of the planet. That's why they chose to manufacture their new beautifully designed bioplastic bottles from sugarcane, which makes an immediate impact on lowering carbon emissions in a big way. Their choice to switch to 100% recyclable bioplastic was driven by the increasingly apparent collective need to face the climate crisis; the process of producing plastic from sugarcane is a carbon-negative one.
They have also removed 95% of outer cardboard cartons from their products and are working on the remaining 5%, but in the meantime they have switched to FSC-certified stock, supporting sustainable forestry.
The underlying ethos of Philip Kingsley is to create highly effective products, in a sustainable and ethical way.

Hair Treatment: Before shampooing, thoroughly wet hair and apply in sections. Work into hair with fingertips. Cover with a shower cap and leave for at least 20 minutes (the longer the better). Rinse well and follow with the appropriate Philip Kingsley shampoo, conditioner and scalp toner. Finer hair textures should double-shampoo to remove all product. For best results use at least once a week. * Give your hair an enhanced Elasticizer treat by covering with a shower cap and leaving on overnight * Apply Elasticizer before working out, then shampoo out post-gym
Shampoo: Apply to wet hair and lather, gently kneading the scalp for 60 seconds. Rinse well and repeat if necessary. Follow with the appropriate Philip Kingsley Conditioner and Scalp Toner.
Conditioner: After shampooing, gently work into mid-lengths and ends of hair. Rinse well and follow with the appropriate Philip Kingsley Scalp Toner.
Styling Product: Apply sparingly throughout towel dried hair, concentrating on mid-lengths and ends. Blow-dry and style as required. Smooth over dry hair for an extra-sleek look.
