Having used several different makes of shaver over the years, including three other Brauns , two series 3 and one series seven, I am of the opinion that this series 9 is the quietist and gives the closest shave yet. Some people have said it is not as close as a wet razor. If that is so then it is as close as I have ever got to or need!
