UPDATE FROM MY PREVIOUS REVIEW BELOW: This thing has opened up like nothing else. Just beautiful. Reading other reviews online, this is a fragrance that often needs some maceration/oxidation. So after a few initial sprays, if you're unimpressed, set it aside for a few months. In my case, the initial flat smell has transformed into a beautiful, smooth, effervescent scent. The iris here is addictive. This is great stuff, especially for the price.

This is the best value fragrance I’ve ever bought. I love it so much I have back up bottles. It’s a straightforward iris tonka that is very close to the original Valentino Uomo Intense. Of course it doesn’t quite match the Valentino’s performance, and it’s a little sweeter, but I find it superb for the price. It did take a month or so after first spray to develop into the fragrance, so be patient if it doesn’t smell quite right on day one.

After watching a fragrance influencer on YouTube, I thought I would give Ambre Chic a try as I'm a fan of Iris based fragrances. My first impressions after a full day of wear is that it's really good. Overall, with 5-6 sprays, projection and longevity were better than expected at 4-6 hours, and even longer on clothing. It's similar to the 2020 Valentino Uomo Intense, though for the price the quality obviously isn't as good. But for the low price I paid I think that it's a decent attempt at the same DNA. Glad I bought it. Bargain!

Gave this a punt after reading a lot of nice reviews. Doesn't do it for me. Has a sickly sweet quality for me, personally.
