I took a chance with this perfume and blind bought it as All Beauty had it on a mid season offer which was less than half price of anywhere else selling it and I had read some interesting reviews so I took a chance. I will say straight off that I absolutely love it. All of the notes listed come together at once and stay the same through the dry down. It's a tricky perfume to describe and is indeed dark and mysterious and quite powerful. I would wear this any time of the year and it's certainly a compliment puller which I found out on my first wearing of it. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something that is quite different. And I will certainly be trying out more perfumes friom Etat Libre d'Orange!

Incredible scent, really dark and rosey, but nothing like a grandma-esque rose. You really get the geosmin/petrichor in this, and wearing it feels like you’re walking through the forest after it’s just rained; slightly damp, dirty, but also really inviting. A must have for cooler nights, but could also work through the day times as I find ELDO fragrances tend to have completely different profiles when you wear them under different temperatures and it’s just beautiful.
