Now this reminds me a lot of the current version of Ralph Lauren Polo Green. Dense, woody, leathery and very masculine. While Polo Green is very much amped up, Chevignon is more toned down and subtle in comparison. It's a quieter, more discreet version of Polo Green, which makes it a good choice for more reserved settings. It's a soft performer, while it does last (I can still smell Chevignon on my arm several hours later), it doesn't have a strong sillage, but there are times when that is very much appropriate. If you like the classic masculine colognes of the late 70s and early 80s, much like Polo Green, then you'll likely appreciate this one.
