The Radial Brush is perfect for smoothing and volumising medium and longer length hair. It is also ideal for both straightening and adding curl when blow-drying. This brush has soft nylon bristles to provide extra control, sleekness and care during styling. It has rounded pins to protect your scalp and hair from abrasions. Featuring a 60mm medium radial, this brush is vented to allow heat to disperse, ensuring quick blow-drying with minimised heat damage.
Brush your hair gently, starting from the ends and moving upwards, carefully easing out any knots. Pulling a brush roughly through your hair from top to bottom can worsen tangles, cause breakage and scratch your scalp. Be especially gentle when hair is wet. Wet hair is swollen by up to 30% and rough brushing can cause it to snap.
Correct blow-drying will not harm your hair. However, applying heat to hair that is already dry can cause brittleness, breakage and dullness. Hold your dryer about 6 inches away from your hair. Start on a high speed and high temperature, and gradually reduce the heat as your hair begins to dry. It is best for your hair if you leave it slightly damp, or ‘just dry’.
Philip Kingsley cares deeply about the future of our planet. That’s why they chose to manufacture their new beautifully designed bioplastic bottles from sugarcane, which makes an immediate impact on lowering carbon emissions in a big way. Their choice to switch to 100% recyclable bioplastic was driven by the increasingly apparent collective need to face the climate crisis; the process of producing plastic from sugarcane is a carbon-negative one.
They have also removed 95% of outer cardboard cartons from their products and are working on the remaining 5%, but in the meantime they have switched to FSC-certified stock, supporting sustainable forestry.
The underlying ethos of Philip Kingsley is to create highly effective products, in a sustainable and ethical way.
